Ventilators where installed to provide both day to day environmental and emergency smoke extract ventilation inconjunction with a fixed Solar C brise soleil solar shading system to control solar heat gain, whilst allowing as much natural daylight entry as possible. Heat extraction via roof turrets was obtained by utilising the Stack Effect principle. Turrets were double bank Louvre to provide natural ventilation extraction at high level with a high degree of rain defence. |
